All Hallows' Eve and Giveaway Winner

Apparently a very big deal at my workplace! I've spent this week jumping at deceptively placed plastic spiders all around office, and I'm not gonna lie, these severed fingers look far too realistic for comfort.

Congratulations to Dez Offril for winning my giveaway! Please expect an email from me very shortly!

Be safe this Halloween!

Juxtaposed :: Outfit Post

Dress from Oasap; backpack from Primark; sandals from Zara; embellished belt from Miss Selfridge

This is the dress I mentioned I received from an Oasap giveaway in my previous post, I find it so simple yet unique in that it takes the ever popular high-low/asymmetric trend and casually distorts it to cascade down the side. I have no extravagant occasion to attend, so grabbing my denim backpack and mirrored sunglasses dresses it down just the way I like it.

Be sure to enter my giveaway

Candid Captures

Jeans from Topshop; cropped blazer from Primark; bag from Michael Kors

This week’s challenge: if time is what I’m clinging onto, if time is what I’m desperately trying to store and keep for myself, if time is what I believe I am most lacking, then time itself is what I need to surrender, sacrifice and utilise to bless other people. I’m challenged this week to use what spare time I have, not for myself, but for others instead, to put aside time to bless other people so that I can move ever closer to glorifying God all the time.

My apologies for slacking with posts for you all! I’ve been cutting myself off from the world these past couple of weeks as a result of the daily grind engulfing all areas of my life. If you follow me on Twitter you may have noticed that all tweet activity has reduced from 100 tweets a day to at most, once a day, and content is generally referencing levels of exacerbating tiredness…

Anyway, I’m back! And I want to know how you guys are doing?

Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupté in Peach Passion

This was an extremely cheeky and uncalled for purchase, I know, but YSL lipsticks are so beautiful and so luxurious and GOLD and I've abstained for far too long. I really believe that a good lip product completes any makeup look and is further useful on days where you've toned down eye or face makeup, but still want to look put together and somewhat as if you've made an effort. For example - travelling. However long or short your flight is, no one wants to board a flying metal incubator carrying hundreds of people with a full face of makeup. Try catching flights bare faced with only a tinted lip or a splash of lippy, your skin will thank you and you won't compromise any look.

This particular lipstick is the number 13, peche passion, and is a wonderful everyday, coral-pink lip colour. The texture is really soft and silky resulting in a smooth and easy application. It's honestly as luxurious as it looks.

Do you own any YSL lipsticks? What do you think of them?

With love~
