Wearing denim shorts, cardigan and fedora from H&M · Primark sandals · Media by MAC
Hello all! A rather, by my standards, muted look in honour of festival season today. There's no hiding from Coachella and its all-mighty hold on everything internet, so I thought I'd do a festival inspired look to make light of the fact that for yet another year, I'm not enjoying all that music and the arts have to offer in the middle of the Colorado Desert. One day!

Bornprettystore False Eyelashes :: Beauty Review

False lashes are absolutely fantastic on days where you want to go the extra mile with your make up look for any occasion. When I wear false lashes I know I want to go big and am often-time wearing a deep smokey eye look for added drama. I received this beautiful box of handmade false eyelashes from Bornprettystore and am so pleased with how full and glamorous they look in the box, let alone on the eyes! (Plus the tiny circular gold stickers are so cute). This particular pair is the number 13533, I picked these out for the criss-cross overlap of the lashes which is what give these their volume and fullness.

Urban Decay Naked palette · Dollywink liquid eyeliner · False lashes c/o Bornprettystore

I religiously wear Eylure lashes whenever I reach for falsies but can officially say that I'm converted. The 13533 are incredibly lightweight and genuinely the softest pair I own. The band is easily mouldable and doesn't poke or prick the corners of my eyes, I can barely feel them!

Get the Point

Wearing ankle boots c/o Oasap · lace dress from Forever 21 · Topshop moto

Very rarely do I share "going out" outfits, but no doubt this would definitely be one. A cute lace number, cropped moto and patent ankle boots, 3 simple steps that just can't go wrong. On another note, pretty pleased I've not broken my Lent, it's proven an insightful journey thus far and I've given much more thought to what I want vs what I need. Another 6 days to go!

Flannel Saga

Wearing flannel shirt c/o Trinity Styles · patent wedges from Asos
My chronicle of oversized items continues, sometimes a girl just wants to shelter beneath a huge flannel shirt y'know? This one is great because both its top heaviness, and that it's made of such a substantial wool, means I can wear it as a semi-lightweight jacket of sorts. When donning an oversized piece such as this, I like to balance the look out by keeping what's underneath as streamlined and as form fitting as possible. I also have the alternative to button the whole thing up, belt around the waist, and I have a flannel dress at my fingertips. Of course, standing at a mere 5'1 helps with this instant transitioning. Either way, I'm super chuffed with this oversized flannel from Trinity Styles, it's a perfect piece for warmer spring days when you're just looking to be comfy and covered up. Make sure to use my discount code "VIVIAN" for 5% off all orders!
