Brick Lane

Slip dress from Zara · H&M cardigan · sunglasses from F21

Strolled down Brick Lane this Sunday and did what any normal person wandering down Brick Lane does, eat all the food. Sunday is basically synonymous with cheat day, right? - at least I kept things loose fitting/flowy to conceal my food baby. This slip from Zara is one of my favourite dresses in my wardrobe, the purple and pink floral print on a black background makes for a gothic but feminine mix, something I love to see in an outfit. I felt rather matchy matchy with the flower display during my daily coffee.

Boyfriend Fit

Hayden jean from Topshop · Motel shirt · Satchel from The Cambridge Satchel Company · Sunglasses from F21

Thank goodness for Topshop denim and their incredible range of jeans in all styles to flatter and fit every body shape. I thought I would never find a flattering pair of boyfriend fit jeans because of a case of being severely vertically challenged, but lo and behold, I snagged this pair on sale for £22 (bargain) and I can genuinely say I’ve never experienced comfort quite like this. Thank you, Topshop, for always taking care of the little people. Paired with a loose fitting shirt, high ponytail and my favourite boots I could walk miles in, I think my dressing down game is strong.

How do you guys like my new satchel? I received this for my birthday a few weeks ago, the personalised print makes this a very special gift indeed.

Contrast

Shoulder bag and hat c/o Oasap · Nike Roshe Run · shirt from Mango

Playing that black and white game again because sometimes it's okay to stay within your comfort zone, and what's more comfortable than Nike Roshe Runs? Don't underestimate this cute little shoulder bag from Oasap, I was able to comfortably carry my DSLR, wallet, makeup bag and a heap of other random-things-I-don't-need-but-always-bring-with-me without having to force the zips to close. And if that's not enough to convince you, the gold zips are cut into the shape of cats with the words"MaoMaoBag" engraved on each one, er, CUTE*

Birthday Outfit

Romper from Fashion Union · H&M bag and blazer · Topshop boots

Turned twenty four this Tuesday just past and I honestly had nothing I fancied wearing until I opened a gift from my dearest friend Mayyan! Thank you for this lovely romper,  I'm thoroughly obsessed with the print, the colour and the black border! As much as playsuits are innately festival/concert appropriate, there is always room to dress it up with a cropped black blazer and a black belt to cinch in the waist for a fancy dinner and a night at the theatre. How better to celebrate?
