Should you ever ask me to dress down this is precisely what it would look like. It has definitely been a while since I've consciously peeled those black platform boots from Topshop off of my feet. They have featured in practically every single outfit shoot this year, but I've somewhat kept withdrawal symptoms at bay with a lower platform furnished with gold hardware from New Look. These boots have officially made it to my "Number 1 Most Waterproof Pair of Shoes" in my collection, after a test run in a week of torrential ran had them coming up trumps!

What's more, comfy ain't comfy without a loose fitting knitted sweater. This ivory knit from Oasap has enough room and give to layer tops underneath for added cosiness and warmth without making me look bulky. And finally, American Apparel riding pants, because they are the best things ever. What do you think? Would love to hear how you dress down in the comments below!

Wearing grey chiffon dress from Tmart · Monki tshirt · boots and jacket from Topshop

Whisking around Covent Garden in this lovely grey chiffon dress that I've endeavoured to toughen up with a leather jacket and my trusty platform boots from Topshop. There's just something about a piece innately feminine/delicate paired with something more brash and edgy like leather with some serious hardware, that I LOVE. Now that the weather is getting colder by the minute, pulling on a pair of tights underneath this maxi chiffon dress actually keep my legs very toasty - I'm all for weather appropriate outfits. Shop Tmart and their dress collection for some great and very affordable pieces!

A tshirt and a pair of shorts may be all well and good for summer days on the beach, but in a bid to revamp my boyfriend's wardrobe in time for the change in seasons, I've chosen a few things from The New Look Menswear collection which will ensure he is fall and winter ready! I love the look of varying shades of grey which really complement the navy pieces. And of course, a bright red scarf to lift the entire outfit and spirits during those gloomy winter days when the sun starts to set at 4pm...
