I like to call this the “I didn’t have time to get a pedicure so I’m wearing shoes” summer lookbook slash wishlist. Given the temperamental weather in the UK, it wouldn’t be surprising that I’m not prepared - or am I super prepared for the inevitable rainshowers by keeping my feet covered? You decide. Pairing a pair of shorts with a flannel (or flannel looking) shirt is all the rage, and for good reason. Perfect for the morning chill, and cute wrapped around your waist!

Baby Blue with Boohoo

This baby blue number from Boohoo would look perfect with a pair of white sandals, a cross shoulder fringe bag and then on the beach. Oh but the limitations of being in the UK means it's equally cute with a cardigan layered on top and a pair of chunky black boots. Keeping the rest of the outfit muted in black ensures the focus is on this chambray dress and the beautiful pattern in crochet. The layered design gives the impression of a two piece outfit and hides the elasticated waist band which makes this dress oh so comfortable to move around in. Perfect for an eight hour shopping trip, which is exactly what I did...
