Recovery

cropped turtle neck jumper from Missguided | riding pants from American Apparel

I am finally in the end stages of recovering from a 2 week flu that has basically taken hostage everyone in my office. Just in time for a quick break to Malta at the end of this week where I'll be ditching the cosy roll necks for a few days of basking in 25 degrees sun! Let Summer roll on for a little while longer... In the meantime, I'm decked from literally head to toe in ribbed wear for a gloomy day of running around Shoreditch. You guys have heard me rave about American Apparel's riding pants, 2 years on, and they remain my favourite high waisted piece in my wardrobe!

London's getting pretty chilly and I'm not lovin' it. Soon I'll have a scarf attached to my neck and no power on earth able to pry it off me...

hello October

dress and jumper from Zara | boots from Topshop

It feels like September lasted just 3 minutes and we're already talking Halloween and Christmas plans. So as we hurtle towards the end of the year expect me to be wearing jumpers over, well, everything. This oversized grey marl jumper from Zara is the softest piece of clothing I have in my wardrobe, it's a no brainer for cold, lazy days. I've slipped into this floral silky slip also from Zara, that I purchased for a bargain price of £9, because you just know I love to mix and match my textures.

I'm really wanting to go a lighter, ashier blonde with my hair colour but I'm at odds with whether I should (attempt) to do it myself or make a trip to the hair salon. What are your thoughts? Any recommendations for trusted hairdressers in Central London?
