Red dress from Topshop, cardigan from Nasty Gal, clogs from Zara

As much as a little black dress is and will always be a wardrobe fundamental, I firmly consider possession of a little RED dress a piece just as essential. Playing with the timeless juxtaposition of a red and black palette for my birthday today and incorporating my double buckled belt into pretty much every outfit I can until I get fed up of  ,you get fed up of seeing it! Threw on this super slouchy cardigan from Nasty Gal because, as ever, nothing excessively extravagant for August 5 festivities, just a film and dinner with my boy~ Regardless, I have been tremendously blessed this week what with 2 surprise celebrations thrown in my honour, both of which I was thoroughly surprised (thank you all! although I'm pretty sure I've fulfilled my cake quota for at least 6 months), I've literally had a grin cemented on my face since Friday. I am soso thankful for all my family and friends who serve as a constant reminder of God's amazing abundance in my life. Here's to another year of adventures~
