you glow girl

The official first day of fall isn’t until the 22nd and pumpkin spice lattes aren’t yet available in Asia, so why not make the most of Summer while it lasts! Regardless of the date, if you’re making a trip to this side of the world in the next couple of months you’ll definitely still be catching rays. Today’s beauty collection will have you glowing brighter than the sun and then probably into Christmas by which time you might as well keep the highlighter out for sequins and glitter season.

Let’s start with the base, you’ll have seen The Oskia Renaissance Mask in my May favourites and it’s still one for the books to transform dull skin for a radiant, fresh and brightened complexion. I like to alternate this with the Emma Hardie Moringa Renewal Treatment Mask from the Chinese Valentine’s Day Beauty Box for a blend of hyaluronic acid, moringa oleifera seed oil and red algae to ensure my skin is happy and hydrated. This is my time using Emma Hardie and I’m enjoying it so far, if you have any other recommendations from this brand please let me know!

Feel like royalty with the Queen of Hungary Mist from Omorovicza to refresh and lift your spirits. This neroli and rose-scented face mist smells luxurious to say the least and is a cooling respite if like me, you live in the heart of a metropolitan city. I take this step first thing in the morning after cleansing to serve as a base for make-up and then whenever I need a pick me up throughout the day.

Onto makeup! How beautiful is this By Terry Eye Designer Palette in Smoky Nude I’m always at odds with using products like this, I just want to keep the embossing intact! After minor inner turmoil I dip my brush into rich, pigmented shades that blend effortlessly. I like the soft caramel all over my lids during the day, and then dialing up the smokiness with the darker shades for an evening look. What’s more, the formula is infused with Avocado Oil for hydration, so treat your eyelids right ;)

Speaking of beautiful make up products, this Chantecaille blush - Turtle (Grace) is just exquisite. The deep apricot shade pairs nicely with the Pixi LipLift Max Lip Gloss in 'Honey Sheen' for a sweet, peachy shine ready for the cherry on top, highlighter! I rave about the Illamasqua Beyond Powder because not only is it daytime wearable, this bad boy is going to last me a lifetime! If you’re just starting out with highlighter then I 100% recommend the Beyond Powder for an easy to wear, buildable glow. Your first application won’t deposit a ton of highlighter on your face which makes it easy as pie to work and layer on top and explore the right amount of glow for you.

Have you tried any of these? Let me know your favourite glow up products below!
